The band is known as a pioneer of jazz fusion in the Czechoslovakia. The band is led by great guitarist Zdeněk Fišer, who established Impuls as one of the best bands in the Czech Republic, next to the Jazz Q. The band plays the songs of Zdeněk Fišer and consists of guitarist, drummer, keyboard player and bass player.
