This new project focuses on authentic performances of both classics and neglected gems from the discography of pioneering bebop drummer Kenny Clarke (1914-1985), either as a leader or sideman. It covers the “golden age” of bebop in the 1940s through cool jazz to the emergence of hard bop in the mid-1950s. Clarke’s discography is unusually rich and diverse, as he played on hundreds of recordings (“sides”) during this period with almost all the major figures of both the swing and bop eras.

Frank Sinatra is just perfect for every occassion, for summer and winter, for the rain and for the Sun, for the city and for the forrest. A heritage of New York dixieland is held by the J. J. Jazzmen band. They have performed all around the world, in 2000 in Prague and Berlin with a ex co-player of Louis Armstrong, Joe Murany. In 2001, they were invited to the craddle of dixieland, New Orleans, to perform during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

The phenomenal bluesman from Chicago, where he played with Buddy Scott or Lorenzo Thompson, shows the very heart of blues by his excellent play and songs. Rene has played with almost every Czech bluesmen and his every show is a mix of wild energy and master play.
Swing and jazz orchestra, Back Side Big Band has more than 11-year history and today is a modern jazz band that will delight audiences critical ear, but also the hearts of those who wants to have fun. The repertoire includes not only the big band swing era standards of the authors (G. Miller, D. Ellington, D. Gillespie, H.
